Treasurer – Ali Smith

Ali is a GB medal-winning Paralympian as well as an owner of her own business.

The T38 category sprinter was part of Paralympic GB’s silver medal-winning quartet in the Universal relay. Together with Jonnie Peacock, Nathan Maguire, Libby Clegg and her guide Chris Clarke, the team clocked a new European record of 47.50.

Ali has also won T38 400m silver at the European Championships in Berlin 2018 as well as a bronze at Bydgoszcz 2021.

Away from athletics, Ali loves nothing more than analysing numbers and delving into spreadsheets. A part-qualified accountant she formerly worked as management accountant for the Treloar Trust, a charity which provides education for disabled children and young adults, leaving to focus on the Paralympic Games.  Ali now owns and manages a cycle shop and is currently studying for her CIMA exams with ambitions of becoming a fully qualified accountant.
